Sunday Quiz
Sunday night is quiz night at Bunters with DJ Wingie behind the microphone. This is Truro's biggest and most entertaining quiz with the emphasis on having a laugh, enjoying yourselves and for the slightly more competitive the added bonus of prizes for the top three teams, and not forgetting the much sought after return ticket to defend your honour as winners the following week in "Winners Enclosure" complete with a 4-pint jug of beer and bottle of wine to quench your thirst on arrival.
The format is generally the same each week with 30 questions based on what‘s on in the news, sport, general knowledge, plus many more topics followed by the ever popular Bits and Pieces music round Ð a mish mash of 10 songs for your dissecting and naming!!
The quiz has gone hi-tech as well with the quiz running through the 8 plasmas and widescreen projector, which is proving popular with the hard of hearing and those who have had a couple(!!) as well as allowing endless possibilities of questions, pictures and video clips. The unique set up guarantees that the quiz does not take over the pub, with decent music all night in between questions allowing the important socialising to take place. This combined with the personality and humour that oozes out of our cheeky host DJ Wingie will ensure a relaxed, enjoyable and laugh filled night!!
